THE BEGINNING

Born from a simple need

In 2024, after struggling for weeks to find a reliable, respectful plumber for our aging parents’ home in New Jersey, we realized something was missing in the marketplace.

Every provider we spoke with was excellent at their craft — but few understood the quiet sanctity of a Hindu home, the rhythm of festivals, or why a last-minute request before Diwali carried special weight.

So we built KarmaListing. Not another gig app, but a true community platform where providers and families share the same values: Seva (selfless service), Dharma (right action), and the belief that good work creates positive karma for everyone involved.
